Terms and Conditions

  • The London Skills Academy is committed to providing and ensuring the satisfaction of its customers. To this end, the London Skills Academy is based on different terms and conditions to ensure the satisfaction of all its services. However, London Skills Academy reserves the right to change these terms and conditions as needed over time. For example, you can change the payment method based on course fees and course details. If national policies and guidelines change, the terms and conditions will also change. If a particular candidate does not comply with any of the obligations set out here, the London Skills Academy reserves the right to interrupt the provision of services without prior notice to the training.

  • 1. Rescheduling fee

    • If a candidate requests a specific course 7 business days before the scheduled course, training or seminar date or in advance, no rescheduling fee will be charged, but 10% will be charged after two consecutive requests. If the candidate does not notify us in advance to attend the seminar, offer or training, the course will be rescheduled.
    • If the candidate does not notify us in advance that we cannot attend the course / seminar / training scheduled date 7 business days prior to the date of course start, the course will be rescheduled.
    • If an individual candidate is unable to attend the scheduled course / seminar / training date, the candidate must notify London Skills Academy at least 7 business days in advance. If they do, we will agree to reschedule the course date with the candidate, as the case may be.
    • For notices less than 7 business days before the course date, 50% of the fee will be charged for each course to be rescheduled. If candidates who paid before attending did not participate in the mandatory training, they must pay again to rebook. However, for clinical seminars, they will have to pay 50% if they request a rescheduling after no-show.
    • In healthcare courses, if the training is delayed for any reason and is beyond the control of the service provider, the service provider must carry out the training and reorganize the training matrix as necessary, without affecting the training / seminar Learning Outcomes. If the training cannot be completed on time due to delays, but the trainer has already arrived, the training institution will charge the customer for the trainer's service fee and corresponding fees, or arrange the training time reasonably.
    • If you are absent for any reason but payment has been received, no refund will be given. If you reschedule your reservation after the absence, an additional 50% will be charged. In case of absence without receiving the fee, the fee will remain due and paid. The reason for this is that London Skills Academy pays its trainers, rents classrooms for teaching and training practices 7 days before the course date.
    • Candidates can book courses with us and pay upon arrival on the day of training. However, if the candidate does not show up or cancel within 7 business days prior to the training location, then to ensure they get a spot on the alternate course date, they must pay by card or bank transfer prior to attending for make sure they are on the course on location.

  • 2. Cancellation of Workshop/Course/Training

    • We implement a "no refund" and "no cancellation" policy for the courses/seminars/training venues scheduled on the day.
    • If the course is specifically for company customers at our training centre, customer site or any other alternative location; in the case of cancellation, the same refund terms apply, but an alternative date for the course can be agreed.
    • As long as we receive your cancellation notice at least 7 working days before the training day and/or accept the terms and conditions of the London Skills Academy policy from the date of payment, you will receive a refund for the course/seminar/training.     • All refund requests must be made 7 working days before the start of the course/seminar/training and must be sent in writing to: admin@londonskillsacademy.co.uk

    • Unfortunately, all refunds are subject to a 10% service management fee.
    • All courses and workshops in health care are for use by nurses, doctors, midwives, health care assistants (HCA) and other related medical professionals only. The learning outcomes and course content of each seminar will determine the target audience and entry requirements.
    • The 7-day refund window is calculated from the day the payment is received in our office. If you pay by credit card or online transfer, the transaction will appear on your bank statement. This applies to candidates who booked courses/seminars.
    • Confirmation of payment and participation in the training course will automatically include you in our terms and conditions, and you agree that the information provided in the training course is for your internal use only.

  • 3. Rights to Make Changes

    • In case it is necessary to change your course in whole or in part, we will notify you of any necessary changes as soon as reasonably possible. You can choose to purchase another London Skills Academy course and pay or get a refund for any discrepancies, or cancel the course and get a full refund of all payments.

  • 4. Unprofessional/Unacceptable Behaviour

    • Any behaviour deemed unacceptable may require you to leave the premises. London Skills Academy has right to cancel your course, in which case there will be no refund. London Skills Academy also reserves the right to refuse training for any candidates who are deemed harmful or who exhibit anti-social behaviour to trainers and other candidates before or during the training course.

  • 5. Liabilities to the Delegates/Candidates

    • We will ensure that all services you require us to provide comply with these terms and conditions, and that we perform these services with all reasonable skills, care and professionalism.
    • If your course content is not provided as outlined in the course description, you must notify us within 28 days of the alleged violation. We will then investigate the matter, and if we fail to provide services in accordance with the course content, goals and guidelines, you will have the right to
    • A full refund of your course fees (or, if applicable, the relevant part of it) minus the changes you requested the fees charged. For free courses with the same value as the reported services, we agree to such dates in writing.
    • We will not be liable to you through an agent, except for fraud, common law obligations, or any express or implied terms of the contract. Any loss related to the provision or use of the service that neither you nor we could foresee at the time the contract was established.
    • Any loss not caused by our breach of contract; commercial or commercial loss.
    • Our total responsibility for training services and the organization of supervised practices in the clinical field will not exceed the purchase price of the reserved service less any modification fees paid to us.
    • Except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability is always limited to the value of the reserved service and does not include any modification fees paid to us.
    • We ensure that the certificate is issued on the day of training. However, in some cases, we are unable to issue the certificate on the day of the training, and the first class will be launched for free on the second day.
    • If additional copies are required by the participant / candidate, a fee of £ 10.00 will be charged. Only one certificate is free. If you need additional certificates, please email: admin@londonskillsacademy.co.uk

  • 6. Requirements for mandatory training updates for all candidates/healthcare professionals and the prevention and management of violence and attacks (PMVA) updates

    • Any candidates or health care professionals who wish to make an appointment for mandatory training updates should have been completed​​​ Mandatory training induction training.
    • All candidates or health professionals who wish to keep updated for the Prevention and Management of Violence and Attacks in Acute Environments (PMVA) or the Prevention and Management of Potential and Current Attacks in Community Environments (PAMPAA) must confirm that they have submitted to 3 Or 5 days of PMVA or ABPM training introductory.
    • A full refund of your course fees (or, if applicable, the relevant part of it) minus the changes you requested the fees charged. For free courses with the same value as the reported services, we agree to such dates in writing.
