This program is for efficient and safe functioning of healthcare organisations, and for the safety of each member working as a staff. In recent years, the requirement of Statutory and Mandatory Training has increased to ensure that, healthcare professionals have extensive knowledge to update their respective skills. These skills are based on safety and quality care of a patient.

The course contents are in line with the current principles and recommendations of the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) of the United Kingdom. This framework is proposed for the use of healthcare organisation to standardise the focus and delivery of training skills.

Course Aim

Identification of relevant legislations such as; Scotland and United Kingdom national policies, accountability of professionals along with code of practice for social and health care workers.

Identification of health and safety at workplaces, and reporting uncertain incidents.

Identification of fire related equipment, and to provide guidelines that how should be act in such events at workplace. It also describes about fire evacuation.

Develop understanding in the fundamentals of data protection, information governance and principles of Caldicott.

Significance of person cantered care while providing healthcare services with a relation to diversity and equality. It also helps to develop understanding of appropriate action in case of abuse along with the principles of safeguarding of adults.

It also defines certain infections that are associated with healthcare and explain the understanding and significance of responsibilities. It describes the importance if identification and safe management of conditions such as; vomiting, diarrhoea along with including particular organism such as MRSA.

Assessment

For the understanding of course, pass marks are designed of 80%, because above topics are based on theoretical assessments.

Candidates are required to explain practical safe to assess patient and handling various procedures to support practical training.

If a stage comes, where a candidate does not meet the above-mentioned criteria to complete the course, the refresh training is required along with practical assessments, free of charge.

    Awareness of Mental Health.

    NHS Conflict Resolution (Communication, Violence/Aggression, Lone Working, Complaints Handling).
